The Barn Lights Never Dim — Country & Western Shines in Oklahoma

A Semi-True Story
The
Cimarron Barn Band
Welcome to my musical party. The Cimarron Barn Band may be mythological, but the songs are real — stitched together from lost dreams, youthful fantasies, love, heartbreak, Oklahoma stories, and the occasional missed chance.

I wrote every lyric. AI helped with the music because, truth be told, I can’t play more than a clumsy three-chord shuffle on my ukulele or sing worth a plugged nickel. Still, words are my craft, and with a little digital wizardry, those words grew into melodies.
The Cimarron Barn Band themselves? They’re the players I dreamed up along the way — fiddle, banjo, bass, all jamming under the stars in some parallel universe where imagination crosses into sound. Maybe they’re just ghosts of thought, or maybe they’re alive and well somewhere, playing Cain’s Ballroom Shuffle on an eternal loop.
Either way, the music feels better with them around.
If these songs stir a smile, a memory, or a tear, then the experiment worked. Share it with a friend, and maybe we bring those mythic players one step closer to real.
